Acts 1:8b says, “and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.”
With this promise in mind, we recognize that we are not always able to be a physical witness of our Lord in local (Jerusalem), regional/national (Judea and Samaria), and international (uttermost part of the earth). Therefore, we believe in tithing as a church plus giving offerings to local, regional, national and international ministries where fellow Christians are able to be physical witnesses of our Lord. We give thousands of dollars each year to local, regional, national and international ministries, here are a few of the ministries we have actively supported:
Locally: several local Vacation Bible Schools, Mountain Christian School, Peace Pregnancy, our local Christian radio station CIAM 107.5 and other various ministries
Regionally: Camp Sagitawa and other various ministries
Nationally: Our Daily Bread and other various ministries
Internationally: Missions work in Sri Lanka where Christianity is persecuted and repressed and other various ministries.
